Gabby's Fawn Boston Terrier Page

My husband, Aaron, and I live in Lamesa, TX which is an hour south of Lubbock.  In addition to the bostons, persian, and outside cats, we have these two weiners that live with us.  My husband farms organic cotton and peanuts and I work part-time at a bank as an internal auditor.   

This is my baby girl Penny (she's 7-DOB 1-15-2000, but I still call her my baby).  I rescued her from and animal shelter after my first Boston I ever had, Patty, had died.  Penny is a dachshund/jack russel terrier mix and is totally crazy!!  She has to watch me everywhere I go, and she's a sweetheart.  I couldn't imagine life without my Penny girl.

This here is Fred the Stinkinator.  He's a dachshund (and a big one at that 25 pounds).  My husband's parents raise some weenies, but none of them are like Fred.  He was the meanest, fattest puppy and now he's as sweet as can be.  Who knew that was going to happen?  So if anyone out there has ever had a mean rotten puppy, they grow up to be pretty nice with enough love and attention.  Of course, fred's favorite thing to do is play with his SQUEAKY BALL!!! Yay! 

April I rescued off the streets of Lamesa on April 28, 2009.  She is believed to be about 6-8 months old at this date.  April now lives with Aaron's parents as their old Dachshunds Lucy and Frank passed away.  April now hangs out with Frank and Lucy's daughter Joey, running the farm.  She's doing good, but Mack and Brindi miss her so much!!
