Patty is the woman that started it all. We got her from a yard sale in 1990. She was tied to a tree and lived in a house with six kids and at least as many dogs. We got her when she was 5 years old and enjoyed much love and gas for ten years. She was a spunky hard-headed little woman that we'll always fondly remember. You were a good girl Patty.
Patty and Mel
Mel was our second and biggest boston we have ever had. He was not fat, he was a huge boned 40 pound man with a heart of gold. We never bred him but he was one of our first babies that got us interested in breeding. Mel is the man! He passed away in 2008 at 13 years old.
Abigail Sweet Pea was the first puppy we ever produced. She was from two black brindle and white parents. Our friend's Rose and Tannia bought Abby from us when she was 8 weeks old. We then found a male, Dusty's Tiger Lily, nicknamed Higgens, who was from black brindle and white parents (we gave him to a relative of ours and could use him for breeding). The two of them bred together produced our first ever fawns, Brownie (Hansen's Von Zipper) and Gabe (Gabe's Clark Gable). Abby passed away in August of 2009 at 15 years old. I thought it would be fitting to put her picture on my 'In Memory of' page. I hope to someday find a picture of Higgens to put on here too, but as he was owned by someone else it may be hard to find the pictures. Abby will be missed greatly.
Gabe's Clark Gable was our foundation Fawn male that came from Abbigail Sweet Pea (above). He passed away in October 2009 at the age of 13. He was a very active and sweet dog. He loved chasing basketballs and rocks and pretty much anything he could get into his mouth. He will be dearly missed by all that knew him.
This is Monty and Sandy's baby girl Riley 1/2/07 to Sept 4 2010. Riley passed away in september of 2010 due to complications from pyometra. She was the best dog with a wonderful personality and just loved her people and her puppies. During her life she achieved the feat of being the FIRST UCA Fawn and White female boston terrier Champion. She loved walks and sitting with you on the couch. She had gorgeous puppies that carry on her sweet personality. Even though she's gone she will never be forgotten. I hope all dogs can be as great as she was. We miss you every day Riley.
Her five week old picture can be seen on home page.
Riley below at 3 years old, we love you always.
Josie passed away in January 2012 at 11 years old. She was the start of so many great fawn bostons that are out there today. You will be missed Josie.
Chloe had complications from hydrocephalus and was peacefully put to sleep at 8 weeks old (3-4-12 to 5-4-12). She was born with an extreme open fontanel and we think she bumped her little head and it caused the hydro. In her brief life she was very loved and we tried the best to keep her going but it was constantly up and down with it being more down. Chloe knew love that most dogs only dream of and she is deeply missed.
